    The wild shrill of Black Francis coming through the radio in the August heat. Ripe fig, iris, coconut milk, tonka and dry blond woods.

    "Music is essential to life. I was born in a house of blues--dad's from Chicago. At 9 I went to camp on an island. Cool older punk kids showed me the Misfits and the Pixies. (One of those kids was actually comedian Rob Delaney).

    That summer was ruled by Doolittle. The provocative lyrics. The cackle of Frank Black. I absorbed it in the summer heat. August humidity. Young romance.

Spring and Summer perfume

Debaser is one of the best perfume to represent spring and summer feeling. Another one is Trudon II with similar notes. You literaly feel the fig leaves instead of the sweet fig friuts. The house D.S.

Stunning perfume

Debaser is a stunning fragrance from d.s and Durga who seem to churn out brilliant fragrances. I adore fig but most never last however this lasts 7 hours on my skin and opens with a burst of fresh energetic fig. It reminds me of d.s and Durga I don’t know what but more bright and fruity. It’s brilliant

One of my faves

One of my all time faves. I tried this on a day out on a whim and the scent made me feel so good that day I had to buy the bottle and this mini roll on. Both are fab but if you like less alcohol in your scents or on the skin this is for you. Perfect handbag scent. I love the undertone of pineapple and coconut for me. Oddly I can’t smell the pineapple on others but on me I do. Love love love! Five out of five all the way! If I could have a keyring solid scent version that would be my request! I love it so so much. Also, very random but someone in the supermarket came up to me and asked what scent I was wearing and she said she’d be placing an order after her shop! That was lush
