Very useful vacuum

This is our second Dyson hand held. One for upstairs and one for down. Ideal to pick up bits when you don't want to be bothered to get the big vacuum out. It is also to go round the edges of carpets, better than a big vacuum

Great Vacuum

I bought this machine last month and it works great. Easy to use, easy to charge and empty. Most of all we love the powerful suction it generates which really came in handy while putting up the Christmas tree this year. Spruce needles are usually had to pick up but not with this machine

initial price ok lacks full set-spares for carpet

This appears to work okay? Is powerful for short periods but it would be handy to have a wand and an attachment for using this for normal carpet cleaning and floors.

Great Vacuum

I love this vacuum in every way except one - and that is the battery life. At the top level of suction the battery gets low after 30 minutes and needs a re-charge. Everything thing else I love!

Works great!

This one replaced an older model. It has better suction and an additional filter, all of which are easier to clean. At the time I bought it there was a promotion for additional free accessories. It made the price more attractive.

I WANT MY MONEY BACK

This dyson is poor quality for the following reasons:- 1. It does not a 3 pinned plug: appliances of this alleged quality need an earth pin; not some crappy double insulation 2. The appliance needs to have a RECHARGING CRADLE, and because of this, WEIGHT of the appliance is UNACCEPTABLY HIGH; the battery would NOT have to be carried around with the appliance. 3. The recharging set up is PATHETIC and UNSAFE: especially with no proper earthing; even with a cheap dust buster the recharging cradle keeps the appliance off the floor where it can be recharged safely; without having a nothing wire carrying high current electricity cord across the floor. This is a potential fire hazard. 4. A GREEN light needs to be added to show that the appliance is FULLY CHARGED to indicate that it can be unplugged from the power point. 5. HOW MANY designs did you prototype before ending up with this design, dyson? Because it wasn't anywhere near the 1000+ prototypes you tested for your original vacuum cleaner. 6. I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND A TOP OF THE RANGE WET AND DRY VACUUM CLEANER AS COMPENSATION FOR YOUR PATHETIC DUSTBUSTER.

Better than any other portable I’ve owned

Powerful and effective. The attachments are useful, battery life good, and the design is great. I swim from a beach every day, and finally the sand in my car is tamed! Great around the house, too
