So creamy

This is such a luxurious cream and I’m so delighted to finally have got my hands on it. It feels soothing and hydrating. I will be monitoring if it helps smooth out lines!

it's OK, but prefer the matri

This is a reasonably light weight night cream which applies nicely with a silky feel but leaves a slightly tacky finish to the skin (I have dry dehydrated skin for reference). It does a reasonably good job of hydration, but I need a heavier serum or oil underneath for enough nourishment (in early November), so is not that nourishing. It was overall OK, but the overnight matrix did a better job for me and I think this would suit combination or balanced skins better. It has a noticeable scent, and it is disappointing to see fragrance is high on the ingredient list - higher than the advertised active ingredients. As well as 'parfum', there are also extra fragrance allergens added (listed at end), so this is not a great option for sensitive skin. This would deter me from re-purchase as I have contact allergies to some fragrances. Performance as a mousturiser was OK, but the overnight matrix did a better job of this (though that too contains fragrance allergens). At these price points, Elemis should do better and I would not recommend this for sensitive skin. I strongly feel that fragrance additives that cause contact dermatitis should not be added to skin care, or it can become skin harm instead.

Lovely night cream.

This is a really nice night cream. It is quite thick in comparison to the day one which I really like as it feels like a pamper session when you put it on and it soaks and absorbs in. It smells nice with a really thick creamy texture. All of my products are Elemis and I highly recommend!

Nice but too pricey

This night cream smells beautiful and is great quality as you would expect from Elemis but it really is very pricey and so long term really not within my budget. The texture is rather thick and so I felt it easier to apply after either a light serum or a small amount of facial oil so also a bit heavy duty for my skincare needs.
