My skin is damaged after using this eye gel
I was so excited to try this eye gel. I bought myself the blockbuster holiday set and could not wait to try everything out. I ignored the bad reviews about this gel causing skin irritation because I do not have sensitive skin. About a week after starting this eye gel, I noticed a small red area under my left eye and what looked like three small pimples under my right eye. I also noticed burning and stinging under my eyes. The red patch under my left eye became extremely dry and scaled, the skin is now starting to flake off, and the three spots under my right eye have become very itchy and my under eye is swollen. I stopped using this product about a week ago and I'm still healing. The skin around my eyes looks terrible right now. So far I have not reacted negatively to the other products I'm using. I actually got a gift set for my sister, too, that includes this product, but I am concerned about her using it because I do not want her to have this happen to her. I think I may just pitch it. I have never had my skin react so badly to any other product I have used in my life. It looks like this works well for a lot of people, so if you buy it, I hope it works for you. I cannot recommend this product due to my experience.

Made The Problem WORSE
Been an Estee Lauder customer for over 30 years and never had a problem until this product. Ordered a set of full size plus 3 sample sizes hoping to reduce under eye circles. This product inflamed the skin under my eyes, turning it red, flaky and itchy. It actually made the circles more visible! I thought my skin might need to adjust and gave it a fair chance, but it never stopped irritating my skin. Went to a dermatologist who told me I needed to stop using this product! Now I'm stuck with 4 containers of a product I spent good money for and will never use, let alone give to anyone else. Very disappointed.

This eye cream works really well. It has a fine, smooth texture and absorbs relatively quickly. However, the results don't seem particularly noticeable—when I stop using it, the fine lines appear more prominent again.

Feels nice
I received the full size in a free gift with purchase. I have only used it for about a week. It goes on nicely and only takes a very small amount. I can't say much about results just yet, but so far, I am liking it.

Bad reaction
I don't know if the formula for this product has changed since I bought it before and liked it ok. After using about 1/3 of the jar, the skin under my eyes has become red and crusty. I'm 71 and don't expect miracles but I also don't expect to wake up and look 100! That's what happened this morning.

Do not use!
This eye cream at first created extreme puffiness and dark circles. I thought I was just tired, because I couldn't understand why my eyes look this way. And then after a couple of weeks of using the product, I started to burn and be irritated and that's when I realize it was the ice cream.
