Octocrylene SPF Ingredient needs to be removed

While I have always loved this day creme, a recent study showed that the sunscreen ingredient Octocrylene in cancer-causing, so I will not be buying this again until this sunscreen ingredient is removed.

Feels so good

I was looking for a moisturizer for day use. This DayWear Matte feels so good when you put it on. It has a slight scent, like cucumbers, but very mild.

Ideal for oily skin

I've used Daywear Matte for over 5 years and would recommend to others. It does a great job at decreasing oil production and shine after hours of being on my skin. I use just a thin layer on my skin and pat it in. I also wait to put on my makeup for another 30 minutes to make sure the moisturizer soaks in. I find I need to blot 1x during the day to help minimize the shine and minimize oil on my skin. This is an improvement for me...with other products I've tried (non Estee lauder), I would be blotting multiple times a day starting 2-3 hours after putting makeup on, so I will say this product is worth it. I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 because there's no SPF and the product has gone up in price close to $20 in the past 5 years.
