Just not for me

I got this as a sample and its just not for me. I found it very thick and heavily scented - like, so heavily scented it was all I could smell for hours! It reminds of concepts of luxury skincare before the more recent trends that emphasise ingredients and lighter/glass skin finishes.

Too fragranced for me

I received a sample of this product and was able to use over approx four uses. I would say this is a mid weight moisturiser. It is easily to apply and absorbs well. I personally found the fragrance a bit too strong for my face and would not purchase again for that reason. I also used this moisturiser in winter when it got very cold and think it was not quite hydrating enough for me. I also got a blemish whilst using this product which could be unrelated but is not something I typically experience. On the whole, it just didn’t work for me and so I would not purchase.

Mixed Feelings

I received this as a sample with a past order. I love the texture of the cream which is thick and feels nourishing on application . It has pleasant , light scent. I used it just in the evening as I felt it would be a bit too heavy under make up, even on mature skin. My skin felt soft and hydrated the following morning with no irritation. I wouldn't purchase it however as I think it is not quite as good as my current moisturisers at a similar price point plus Eve Lom is not cruelty free.

Feels lovely!

This has a really smooth texture and applied easily. Soaked in quickly. It has a really nice, gentle scent. Woke up the next day with skin feeling great and looking forward to apply it again! Make up went on nicely over the top of this. I think Im going to switch from my current moisturizer to this one- the only thing that puts me off is the price point…maybe I’ll use one pot and see if I’m convinced after that.

Ok

I was a regular user of the Eve Lom intensive night cream so I chose to sample this new cream as well. The sample size was enough for about 5 uses, so i can only comment on short term benefits. The cream has a nice, thick consistency and applies really well. It has a subtle pleasant smell. It absorbs quite nicely without feeling sticky or heavy, so works well for a day cream too. It did leave my skin soft, but not sure it was nourished enough for this to be my night cream. I didn't notice any other benefits, or the same immediate feel as with other retinol creams.

A treat

Lovely fragrance, rich texture but easily absorbed without a sticky or oily finish. I applied at night and skin still felt moisturised by morning. My review is based on a sample I received with another purchase. Not enough consistent use to judge improvement to wrinkles. But I would likely try the full-sized product.

Gorgeous

I received a sample of this face cream with a recent purchase. I do like Eve Lom so I was happy to try this. It is a rich cream which absorbed well and left my skin feeling hydrated and radiant. I can’t see any difference in the appearance of my fine lines and wrinkles as this was a short use but I expect good results with this brand and at this price.
