Bought this several months ago and love it. There are a few tricks like *put the oil on your food, not in the grill. *Heat it up before putting the food in to cook. It goes from the stove top into the oven easily. The only negative is that it is heavy but that is a positive as well - it will last forever. It is attractive, large enough for a family and has even heat. I've cooked meats and side vegetables.... all turn out great. You need to experiment on how to best cook your food - oven, stove top, grill, or a combination . Remember on iron cookers, they clean best with hot water and a hard brush. Soap can create the need to reseason.

On the fence
After the first use the seasoning came right off in most places, after washing there were visible rust under the seasoning. It is heavy and nice looking but seems to be too much work to maintain, and I like using cast iron.
