About The Brand

Free People apparel, shoes, and accessories are for the confident girl who's creative, smart, and can't resist petting a dog—from the sweet to the tough, the tomboy to the romantic. It began when Dick Hayne opened a small, unique store in West Philadelphia in 1970 called Free People. The store grew to include multiple locations and the name was changed to Urban Outfitters. As the brand continued to grow, Hayne and his wife realized it was the original concept of Free People that represented some of their favorite ideas about style—ideas of femininity, courage, and spirit. Free People was reiterated once again as a small boutique in New Jersey where unique styles could be found. Today, Free People's bohemian-inspired garments, shoes, and accessories can be found in boutiques throughout the United States and Canada and are carried in specialty stores worldwide including Bloomingdale's.

I Can Even

I’m a little late to the party but after much research on these jeans I can even! I am 5”4,168lbs, bottom heavy and these fit like a dream. I have only worn FP jeans once so I was unsure what size to purchase. I am a 6-8 in American Eagle jeans and ended up ordering a 30. Although they are a bit loose in the waist I am happy with the fit they are a nice weight for all four seasons and are very well made. I am super happy with my purchase! Hope this review helps someone else who is on the fence!

No Way

I wouldn’t wear these if they were given to me, they look as if someone rolled in the sand all day, the material felt sorta rough and the fit was off to baggy, not in a good way.. I like the idea of the rope belt and could have been a nice pair of jeans, but the dirty look of the sand, roughness of material and blotches of paint ruined the concept.

Moxie

Super cute and good weight. I went down one size and probably could've went down two. I typically wear a size 4 and purchased a 26. They do stretch out a bit after wearing.

Love

I tried them on and they fit so perfect, they're a lil heavy but so worth it. I fit a 28 but since I have a shape I wanted them relaxed so I got a 29.

too small!

I am a straight 28/29 in FP and every review said they ran big! Mine must be miss-sized! Could barely button. Gonna try a 29 and 30 just to see how they work. FP has the worst sizing! The color is wonderful and style! Really hoping the next pairs fit better.
