Universal Style

Frye Jasper boots are excellent quality in leather and craftsmanship. Fit is slightly large but I use orthotics in my shoes for comfort and support ; therefore fit was perfect. The boots go with any outfit, whether dressed up or down with jeans.

A glove for your foot

When I first put on the boots, they definitely were snug ( I usually wear a 9 and reordered this pair to a 9.5). I wear my boots to work and after 5 days I am loving them ! They are fitting like your best pair of leather gloves I don’t buy expensive boots, splurged this time and now I don’t know if I can buy anything less. I’ll warn you. “ you can’t miss what you never had”

Fit great, solid build but…

The fit is like all Frye boots, like a glove. I think Ranch Road boots might be giving giving you a run for your money with the Italian leather but Frye has consistently been an excellent out-of-the-box boot and shoe for eons and still is for the price point. Definitely can be in these casually or in a suit.

I returned them because they didn't meet my high expectations that I'd previously experienced with your products. Also, I prefer the leather sole.

The boots were not what

The boots were not what I thought they would be...I assumed they would resemble the "Wright Back Zip" boots years ago...circa 2016. Those boots had a leather sole and heal (1/2 leather) and were made out of leather (made in Italy) not Mexico. I totally understand due to COVID and supply issues. It's difficult to buy any shoes that are made in Spain/Italy. If one is fortunate to purchase a shoe/boot made in Italy TODAY, it will cost a fortune.

Great but wide on big sizes

Love these but in an 11 they seem to be for big guys with massive ankles. I am 6.3ft and 83Kg normal build and the 11 feels too big on the ankles. Shame as I love the shape.
