The shoe looks good in pictures, but...
I love Geox and over the years have purchased several pairs (and I still have all of them!). I've been looking for a pair of brown sneaker-type shoes for awhile, and this pair seemed to fit the bill. It was slightly dressier than I wanted, and larger than I usually buy (12), but the warm chocolate color in the pictures was intriguing. It arrived and, well, I was underwhelmed. The 'warm chocolate color' was more caramelly, and the fit was fair. Meh.

Looks better in pictures than actual
I had to return it primarily because it was way too narrow for my feet, a problem I have never had with standard width shoes. Consider these only if you have relatively narrow feet. Even then, it has some quirks one should be aware of. If you are looking at these for a sleek European style shoe with thin soles, the proportion of the top which as a sneaker is higher than a low top makes it look very awkward relative to the almost invisible sole. Similarly, the toe area is way too long relative to the laced area and so the front design looks awkwardly long especially if you have trousers drop over part of the laced middle. The quality of the material is also disappointing. Leather upper looks durable but not high quality. The insides have almost no padding in front. The synthetic sole looked faded and scuffed from the sides like a cheap synthetic shoe. I was hoping it would be a nice cross-over for both casual and casual dressy uses. Unfortunately, it looks too dressy for casual use and too casual/cheap for a dressier use. I wouldn’t discourage trying it out if you like the shoe as pictured. It might not look as awkward in smaller shoe sizes but be prepared that it may not look as good on the feet.

sleek and extremely comfortable
my first time purchasing Geox and I am happy I did. The shoe is extremely comfortable, light with a unique sleek style. Is versatile and can be used to dress up or down.
