Naturally hypoallergenic, silk comforters are ideal for those with sensitive skin and allergies as it is naturally resistant to dust mites. A natural heat conductor, silk helps to regulate the body's temparature while you sleep to help keep you warm in winter and cool in summer.

    • Machine wash: 30°C max. Use a small amount of a mild silk/delicates detergent for silk washing. Line dry recommended. Use medium heat with steam to restore the suppleness and softness of the products.

Deceiving practices

The product is fine. But Bloomingdales is misleading and quite deceiving. They ask for your email address in exchange for a 15% discount on your order. They refused to honor it !!! That's right. Bloomingdales ! They said the product does not qualify for it. Rubbish! In essence, they buy the right to advertise on your email and then refuse to pay ! After long arguing with them, they gave me something, but NOT the full 15% . I have never, ever had a store do this ! Bloomingdales, honor your deals !

Beautiful but if you sleep hot, may still be warm

Beautiful feel and weight but still a bit warm which is always a challenge for me and thus the reason I won't downgrade my rating. I realize that it's a tall order to have a comforter be cool; by nature there must be some substance to them! I do find it much more preferable to my wool and down comforters.
