Horrible quality- do not buy from this brand.

I wanted to purchase a dress up costume for my daughter for Christmas and this looked adorable. The costume itself is beautiful, however after TWO wears, the sequins unraveled off of the bodice and the wings completely broke apart, exposing a very sharp wire that was digging into my daughter’s back. I took this item back to the store to get a refund (because things should last more than two wears- especially at this price point), and they told me because it was a third party seller they had to send it back to Great Pretenders. A few days later I received a not so nice email from Bloomingdale’s telling me that they would not accept my return because the item was “worn and unsellable” and would be shipped back to me and no refund would be issued. In addition, they attached 4 photos (which I will attach to this review) showing me exactly where the item fell apart? Yes, I’m aware- this is why I’m returning it?! I’m disappointed in Bloomingdale’s for not standing by the quality of the items they sell, this whole process has been irritating and has left a bad taste in my mouth.
