Great useful watch

This is a great looking watch. I plan to use it as a daily wear. I love the rich military history behind it. I think that this watch should be in every man's collection, veteran or civilian.

Nice watch. Strap is too short.

The strap was too short and closed on the very last hole on the tongue. Too tight.. Perhaps this was designed as a ladies strap? Returned watch.

Great time piece!

I love everything about this watch! I was looking for an affordable, yet versatile, every day automatic watch that I could wear to the office or on a backpacking journey, and the reviews that I read on this particular watch led me to believe that this may fit the bill. So, I took the plunge and bought it, and couldn’t be happier that I did. It’s definitely worth the price, perhaps even more. It’s a very handsome time piece that looks classy with my business casual and even formal attire, and it looks even better when I’m dressed in casual attire, or shorts and a t-shirt. It definitely fits into my active lifestyle. The movement is basically an ETA 2824-2 (Hamilton calls it their H10), and if you know anything about this particular movement, then you know it’s a rugged workhorse that will run forever with periodic servicing. It runs about -1 second/day, which is quite amazing considering the price point. I haven’t had it off my wrist long enough to really test the power reserve yet. The sapphire crystal doesn’t have an anti-reflective coating, but that’s not a big deal to me. The dial is still beautiful and legible with minimal glare. I haven’t submerged the watch into water fully, yet, but it is rated for 10 bar of water resistance, so I’m certain I will try it at some point (with a water resistant strap). It worries me a little that it doesn’t have a screw down crown, but that’s still not a deal breaker for me. The strap for this model is a premium grain leather, which only took a day or so to soften up. It is fairly comfortable right out of the box, but after a day of wear you won’t even know it’s on your wrist, until you check the time of course. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend it to others who are seeking the same things in a time piece.
