Hamilton Ventura Quartz Watch, 32.3mm
The Ventura by Hamilton is a faithful tribute to the original 1957 model, which made watch-making history as the world's first electrical, battery powered watch. The design of the case mirrors that of its ancestor. The dial is reminiscent of the 1950s Ventura timepieces, complete with digit markings all culminating in an embossed rounded point looking like atoms.

Wearing a piece of history.
I so enjoy wearing a piece of history on my wrist. This Halmition Ventura watch debuted back in 1957, designed by Richard Arbib, and worn by Elvis in the movie, "Blue Hawaii." If you have seen both "Men in Black," this watch can be spotted. This watch was considered the first "Electric" watch (battery-operated). This 27mm size wears perfectly on my 6.5" inch wrist. I am glad to see this watch in my collection, and what a wonderful present for myself.

Great watch with more sizes available
This is in response to the other reviewer. I do not have the 27mm width; I have the smallest of the sizes available, and it fits my dainty. The smallest watch seems to be available from the manufacturer only. Apparently, there are simply not enough tiny buyers for this style for Macy's to have carried it. I have no problems with the stem or the buckle. I didn't even have to punch an extra hole in the band. In fact, I wear it on the second smallest position. If you are choosing a Hamilton Ventura, make certain the case width is what you are accustomed to, particularly if you are a lean man or a fine boned lady.

Good looking watch!
I like the style of the watch. For me personally my wrist is small so the watch seems a little awkward for me. The leather deployment band is nice but I have a hard time getting it on and off, its probably just me. Make sure when you fix the time on the watch you pull the crown out third click. I was worried in beginning pulling it out too much since its just a simple time piece that tells time only. I had to email Hamilton and watch on Utube.
