Great blend giving a honey scent
Got this as a sample, didn't expect much but it's so nice. First spray is strong, a fizzy honey scent, maybe the ginger mixed with bergamot. It then mixes with the moss and patchouli giving it depth. Best for cold weather and comes across unisex. Lasts a few hours before being a skin scent. Bit pricey, may buy a small size on sale

Elegant scent
Wow this perfume is so classy, so sophisticated. I was not convinced at first but the scent grew on me and now it’s my new favorite scent. For reference, I do not like sweet scents, so this is perfect for me.

good quality, well rounded, not ground breaking
This opens with some only-slightly-sweet fruit (my skin amplifies sugar, if there is any there it will show it) and a background of soft nubuck leather. The patchouli is so clean and well blended, it is not distinguishable individually. It's not an earth-shattering start, but it is pretty in a rounded way. The fruit recedes to leave a floral leather underpinned by some discreet silky woods, again a rounded soft nubuck, not a hard or harsh leather. There are no sharp edges or anything challenging about this (or if there is, my skin has lion-taming properties). After a couple of hours it faded out softly with soft leather and subtle woods. It is very wearable and pleasant, but nothing ground breaking. Like every other Hermes fragrance I have tried, it is well made, with good strength and acceptable longevity. I will enjoy and finish my sample, and would be very happy to be given this as a gift. Would I buy it at Hermes prices? Probably only if significantly discounted, I suspect that finishing my sample won't not leave me longing for more as it is enjoyable more than memorable.

Interesting scent
At first it smells very smokey bitter and overpowering, but once it settles it turns into a beautiful soft exotic scent, never smelled anything like it, loved it, and lasts long too

It does not last as long as I would like when comparing it to other perfumes in my collection, but I do still reach for it if I got an event to go to thats 2-3 hours. Overall, its not bad, but its good for when you want to smell good but different.

Wonderfully smoky and distinct
Received as a sample and loved it. It has a really distinctive, but not overpowering depth and smokiness to the scent. The only reason I have given it four stars rather than five is because the scent didn’t last long on my skin…I prefer a perfume with greater longevity and something I can appreciate all day without needing to reapply. But it is a lovely perfume, and unusual.
