    Barénia Eau de Parfum blends exhilarating butterfly lily with the delicacy of the miracle berry and envelops them in oakwood and an intense patchouli. An elusive, stirring and surprising chypre with a sensuous texture.

    Created by Philippe Mouquet and inspired by the Collier de Chien bracelet, the bottle balances gentle elliptical curves with the power of the metal plate adorned with domed pyramid studs. At the heart of the jewel-like Barénia bottle is one final stud, its shape molded into the glass.

An old school perfume for 2024

This new Hermes smells like walking into a luxury hotel in Paris in the 1950's, all paper shopping bags, wearing leather purses and shoes, with a champagne in hand. It's an undeniably serious perfume without being heavy, and is French perfumery as its best!

Not the quality I expected

I smelled this scent in a catalog and absolutely fell in love with it. I ordered it and when I received it, it did not smell quite as good. I used it and it did not have good staying power. I used it again using more product then before and it still had no staying power. I used it with the Barenia fragrance soap to layer for more staying power and the soap did not help. Even though this has the Hermes name it has the quality of a cheap perfume. How disappointing.

Simply gorgeous!

This is an absolutely beautiful new perfume from Hermès - it is the perfect balance of comforting floral and fresh citrus notes with a beguiling woody hint. It lasts so well (a little really goes a long way!) and I have received so many compliments from wearing it. I would say it is the perfect perfume for early spring in particular.
