a dream to cook with
the beauty and quality of this saucepan inspires both me and my husband to cook extraordinary food. the shape is perfect for creating delicate intricate sauces. This sauce pan transports me. I'm already a great cook but cooking with Hestan takes me through a portal to michelin 3 star cooking. And when i am cooking i also enjoy looking at the saucepan . i'm in love!

A new workhorse
My new goto everyday warming pot. This is my new pot for warming soups and stocks. It's my melting pot for chocolate and my reducing pot for sauces. the rounded base is easier to stir than a straight sided sauce pan. The flat rivets are always a perfect touch on hestan products. Construction is excellent, well balanced and easy to hold. It's a perfect addition to the collection.

New go-to!!!
I got this specifically for anything I would make in my 2qt Saucepan but this gives me increased options and ease of use. Great for starting a Soffritto, whisking Sauces, I keep Simple Syrup around for just about anything—which then makes it easy to pour into Squeeze Bottles. I made a Strawberry-Watermelon Sauce with my Immersion(Stick) Blender and 4th of July leftovers. . . I love knowing this is around and gives me limitless possibilities. I would say it’s one of the best values on the market that you get all of its additional features that other brands can’t claim, and at either a comparable or MORE affordable rate than those other brands. *I also got the Universal Lid and honestly, I’ve just kept it all right on the stove clean because I know I am going to use it at anytime.

Underwhelmed.
1) Handle : A little short , and gets warmer than those of similar pans or pots. 2) Absolute worst stainless pan I have, as far as cleaning the interior; and also not having it look all foggy without using barkeepers friend. 3) totally unimpressed. I’m going to use it for the barbecue, or give it away.
