To celebrate designer Oika Toikkas 50th, Iittala reintroduces a selection of the most popular pieces from his original 1964 dewdrop collection. The idea of using droplets of glass as decoration came to Toikka when he was thinking of ways of covering the joint marks left on the surface of pressed glass pieces by the production process. The result is a collection of timeless objects of beauty.

Nice surprise

Beautiful design. The green color is perfect with my settings. They are smaller than I expected but are working out perfectly. Definitely feels like a quality time when you hold it.

Beautiful plates!

I am so excited that I put this plate on my registry. I ordered one to make sure I liked the quality and it is as beautiful as I imagined for my formal dinners. The edge of the plate is curved which is great for making sure no food spillage.
