Pretty but Presentation is Off
It's a beautiful bracelet - I bought it as a gift for a friend. It is a nice quality chain: what you would expect from Ippolita and the stones are lovely. However....when you buy a piece of designer jewelry, there is definitely an upcharge, but for a gift, it's worth the extra cost; but the store doesn't any bags or boxes from Ippolita in stock, so that the recipient knows what they are getting: kind of takes the "wow" factor out of gift-giving. The brand name is on the price tag, but a return sticker was placed over the tag so it still wasn't obvious that it was the designer's merchandise. Sales person said Ippolita doesn't supply these extras to Bloomingdale's. I think it diminishes the gift when it's not wrapped properly.
