Love this Scent for my husband

Bloomingdales sending expired Jo Malone cologne

Looks like I will not order any more beauty products from Bloomingdale's. They sent me a bottle of Jo Malone cologne that was over a year old therefore, the scent does not last when you spray it on. Normally, Jo Maone cologne will last for two hours after you spray it on. I suspected something was wrong when, after spraying the cologne on me, it lasted for 5 minutes. Now, they will not exchange it by mail. They said go the store and maybe they will exchange it for you. Seeing that our San Francisco store has closed, this is an inconvenience. Other well-established department stores would have done the exchange through the mail. This is not my first incident with Bloomingdale's. They mailed me a Nars tinted moisturizer that was used in the mail. Bloomingdale's I expect better of you!

Rancid

Hello - I have worn this beautiful fragrance for over 8 years. I have read about the quality issue with the Dark Amber over the past year- that is dissipates very quickly. I decided to purchase anyway and maybe put more on! I ordered and received it and it smells rancid. I asked if i could bring it back (used 5%) and exchange for another Jo Malone fragrance. The BLOOMINGDALES flagship store has been my primary (close to only) department store, for myself and my mother, for over 30 years and our Bloomingdales cards will sure reflect that. My Bridal registry was at that store. I was disappointed that since i was past 90 days "unfortunately" nothing could be done to assist. In any event, purchase from a Jo Malone store perhaps until their store quality issue is resolved. It is a beautiful fragrance!
