Fave new jeans
These are amazing for updating your wardrobe from skinnies. As a 40 yo mom of many, I like the straight trend but wide leg is just not flattering on my body type. These have the perfect amt of structure with the 93% cotton. Absolutely love. Only wish they made them in a darker wash!

Disappointed in fit, fabric too stretchy
I discovered Joes Jeans a few years ago, and since have purchased several pairs of the Lara jean and others. I am typically a waist size 28. In this particular jean, I thought it was way too big for me? Perhaps it was the stretch in the fabric? Not sure, but the jean was just very loose fitting and not holding me in where I need to be held in. I considered ordering a size down, which I would recommend for this jean, but I just didn't like them enough to go that route.
Versatile, but these are Not high rise
I’m 5’1 95 lbs, and ordered size 24. I ordered 5 pairs of Joes jeans to try and so far, these are the best fitting ones! They fit me very well in the thigh and legs. The waist is a bit loose, but that seems to be my problem with a lot of jeans as my waist is small. They are fitted but not hugging so I can wear them for work. The length is pretty spot on. It’s rare that I find jeans that aren’t too long or too short. I can wear sandals with these, or 2” heeled boots and it would work just as well. There are a couple of drawbacks. These are not high rise. If you look up the same Lara line in the Traveler, it has lower rise than those, but the Traveler is marked as mid-rise. The sewed-in tag on the jeans themselves marked these as mid-rise, so I assume the website is incorrect. See photo. Second, these are light to medium weight. I like more quality heavier weighted jeans especially for the colder season. I’m satisfied with these jeans regardless of the cons I pointed out.

So soft and comfortable!
These are fantastic jeans. Perfect ankle length for all kinds of cute shoes. And the denim is very soft but high quality. Just a little stretch, enough to be comfortable without sacrificing structure.
