Recommend sizing down

I am a US size 4-6 and 5'5. I ordered a small and I should have ordered an x-small. It hung way below my shoulders and was very boxy. I think I could have made it work, but it was shipped without the belt. Jacket material was smooth and very light. Unlined. Color is true to photo.
