Quality is not consistent

I bought a pair of these and loved them so ordered another pair after a year. The same brand, fit, everything. The first time I wore them, the crotch ripped out. Bloomingdale's was good about a refund but the quality just isn't consistent in the pants which was disappointing. 5 stars for the 1st pair, 0 stars for the 2nd.
