Lighter than John Varvatos Artisan

If I could have tried it first, I probably would not have gotten it. It's light on first impression and really doesn't seem to stick around for too long. It might layer well as it transitions from the aldehydic melon-y top note down to the popular nutmeg-type scent, that is prominent in such products as Eau Savage. But it is a lighter version of the John Varvatos Artisan cologne, which doesn't really last too long after dry down either. It's a pleasant scent, good for summer and hot days, but I can't say it impressed me too much. The "XX" implication doesn't transmit much.
