This designer, high end, luxury item is swoon-worthy and worth every $1,000. The first time I laid a finger on this bed, my hand melted right into the three-plush-heavy-duty-foam-packed-with-wool-and-stitched-by-hand-to-the-border fabric. Never have I ever in my whole life have I felt a cloud so soft. Now I can one up my next door neighbors $8,452 Purple Split King Bed Mattress with a confident smile on my face. Great Mattress
Time for a “grown up” mattress .. backs over 60 and boxes don’t mix. The mattress itself is firm but no pressure points and was meant to be used with a topper to provide the right feel. Love it.

Questionable Quality control.Very Firm for 'Plush'
We decided to splurge for the Palais Royale mattress and were excited to receive it. Sadly what we got felt markedly different than what we tried on the show floor. We opted for this model for the 'Plush' feel and what we got was an unusually firm/hard mattress that felt harder than the firmest model they have. For something this expensive, I'd like to think that there was some Quality Control done to ensure the product was up to par. The store asked to give it some time to settle, but 3+months later not much has changed. It's possible that we got one that slipped through their quality controls or that Kluft started overstuffing their mattresses to counter the customer complaints that they sag over time more than the average mattress but that's speculation. On the positive side the materials feel substantial and of high quality but overall this purchase was an unfortunate disappointment.

The Best!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a 65-year-old and I have issues with my back and this Kluft mattress made such a huge difference in my life. This mattress is soft but also firm at the same time, it seems like it's exactly what my back needs. Since getting this mattress my sleep is better and I have less pain in my back. This mattress truly changed my life. The quality of this mattress is excellent, as can be seen in the details in the pictures. The service and the way the mattress arrived were outstanding. Very comfortable mattress and I cannot recommend it enough!

All I can say is, wow!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is probably the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on. The plush topping makes it luxurious without causing discomfort. When I lay on this bed I am on cloud 9. The stitching and amount of detail that went into crafting this mattress is unbelievably amazing. All very fine materials. If you want your guests to be wowed this is a product for you. This is a tall mattress so do not plan to use on a platform frame.

Each bed becomes customized to you. Me and my wife have had the best sleeps ever since we got this super comfortable mattress. Would definitely recommend!!

I had come to believe that I may need to purchase a really expensive mattress to get the comfort I desire. I decided to read the reviews of this mattress. Reading this review reminded me of a mattress I purchased from Bloomingdale's many years ago. I had the same experience as yours. The mattress I received did not feel like what I tried at the store. Although the mattress was returned and I got the one I initially wanted, I still was not thoroughly satisfied with the comfort level. However, the mattress I purchased was no where near as expensive as this one. How does one find the perfect mattress?
