Nice, but not worth it
I received this in the advent calendar this year. There is no way it’s worth £72. The packaging is good, the texture is pleasant, but not long lasting. My lips look slightly more plump because of the shine and texture, but the formula doesn’t plump your lips. The minty flavour is a bit off and reminds me of a smoker that’s chewing gum.

Fabulous, Try it!
Fabulous product! My only regret is I wasted so much time and money before I bought this lip treatment. Smooth, shiny, long lasting, the best.

Very happy with this lip care product
I swear by LaMer’s lip balm and wanted to try this and I’m so glad I did. DIOR used to make a lip product that was Collagen-based but they no longer do, so I’ve been trying to find a substitute. This is the best alternative I could find to the DIOR. LaMer lip balm in the little round pot is still my overnight treatment (totally prevents chapped lips in the colder weather). This is an all day carry everywhere perfect lip product, get it!

good, but not enough
I really like it. The packaging is pretty, it feels luxurious and makes my lips look great. I am really enjoying using it, especially that almost any other lip "volumising" product does not agree with me and causes adverse reaction. I would happily keep using it but I am unlikely to re purchase; it is just too expensive for what it is, for me. I am really glad it was included in the Advent calendar and it will be on my list for when I have some odd urge to spend too much money on something nice but just maybe not reasonable

Crazy price
I received this in the 2025 advent calendar. It's a very nice lip gloss in a cute packaging but there is absolutely nothing here to pay this price for. This is the year of the lips and there are soooooo many BETTER products available at lower price points.

Gorgeous, healthy sheen
I received La Mer’s The Lip Volumizer in my Space NK Advent Calendar, and it’s absolutely stunning. OKAY
By no means is this a bad gloss- it isn't sticky on the lips, feels very comfortable and plush, with a nice fluffy applicator too, and feels very hydrating. However it is not a volumizer/plumper. Your lips look 'fuller' since they are glossy and look shiny, however the gloss doesn't volumize them. It looks the same as any ordinary hydrating lip product does, with a pleasantly light/soft minty feel. Also, the price tag for 7ml of product is severely overpriced.
