Pretty material but skirt is not figure flattering

There is something about receiving an expensive silk skirt in a wrinkled ball that makes you think is it really worth even the sale price of almost $300? My husband looked at me side eyed when I said that to him. I still decided to try on the wrinkled skirt as I have the matching blouse and I love the blouse. I was hopeful. But the skirt is just so bulky, it made me look much bigger than I am. Maybe it was all the wrinkles, maybe it was the gathering of material or both making it seem puffier, I don’t know. I’m disappointed. The print is very pretty. If you like the fluffy full look you may love it. If you’re wanting a size 10 one is on its way back. I have a 30” waist and 39” hips. It fit in the waist, lots of extra room in the hips. 5’8” 155lbs. My usual size is an 8/M. Also the background color is not as white as it appears in the pictures. More of an off white, or light grey. It matched the 3/4 sleeve silk blouse that I purchased in a L. 37” chest.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

This skirt is absolutely beautiful! The fabric is so elegant and soft. Fit is perfect on the waist. I may have the bottom hemmed. I'm 5'3'' and it's pretty long on me.
