Buildable, long-wear, high-shine lip color that feels ultra lightweight and hydrating on lips.

  • What It Does

    This innovative lip lacquer combines the comfort and shine of a gloss, the pigment of a lipstick and the lasting power of a stain. Lancôme's innovative oil-in-water emulsion is lightweight and non-sticky, providing up to six hours of wear. Enriched with glycerin, lips feel hydrated throughout the day. The high-shine finish and vivid color payoff are buildable from sheer to full coverage in 1-3 coats.

  • How To Use It

    Apply directly to lips and build color and shine by layering coats of Lacquer. Use with lip liner and/or lipstick to further define and add dimension to your look.
    • For a more defined look, use Le Lipstique lip liner to outline lips. L'Absolu Lacquer can also be layered over L'Absolu Rouge lipstick for a bold, deeply pigmented look.
    • Pick a light and a dark shade from the same color family. Swipe the dark shade over 3/4 of both top and bottom lips from left to right. Take the lighter shade and starting in center of lips, swipe right to cover remaining portion of lips to create an ombre effect.

Best long-wearing lip gloss!

This is my favorite long-wear lip gloss. It doesn't dry my lips, does not have an unpleasant smell, and is glossy, not sticky! I use lip-liner (all over - not just to outline), then the L'Absolu Lip Lacquer, then top with a lip plumping gloss. It lasts all day and I am regularly complimented on my lip color. I don't know why it's getting so hard to find the Lip Lacquer but when I find it in stock and in one of the neutral colors, I buy it! I bought five this time out of fear that I won't be able to find it again.

Not what I expected from my favorite makeup brand.

Terrible! Doesn't look like a Nude color and I don't like the way it went on. Prefer drug store brand.

Seeing is believing

At first I was skeptical to buy online without actually seeing the product on me or viewing it in person. The color was exactly what I was looking for. Not bold at all but just enough color to make my lips look alive. The color faded when I ate but I reapplied it, as I do all my lip colors. It moisturizers because my lips never felt dry and it didn’t show any cracked lips. I would definitely buy this product again.

Lovely color, moisturizing, but not sticky.

Looks great and lasts much longer than expected! Provides shine, moisture and stain. Doesn’t bleed out of lip line. Would recommend strongly!
