These shoes are so cute, but like the other reviewer said, oddly difficult to walk in. The first time I wore them, one of the hardware pieces on a strap fell out. The hole where the hardware was stretched out so much that the threads on the strap looked like they were going to snap in half. There’s no way I can wear them again. Bloomingdale’s refused an exchange/return because they were just out of the return window and Larroude said there’s nothing they can do because they were purchased through Bloomingdale’s. For how expensive these shoes are, I’m bewildered by the quality and customer service. I wish I’d at least bought them through someone that stands by their products. Overall, beautiful shoe but horribly disappointing quality and experience.
wide straps and impossible to walk in
The straps are very loose! I fastened the buckle on the last whole and still had an inch of slack around my heel. in addition, the straps that run across the foot are extremely loose as well. I could have tolerated that except for the platform part of the shoe is like walking on wood blocks. There is no give, and with loose straps it’s literally impossible to walk. it’s too bad, these shoes were so adorable but absolutely impractical.
