Excellent worth the extra money
I have 3 of these in my house and they are excellent, well made, and rock solid reliable. I would have given 5 stars but your model numbering is inconsistent. How is the customer supposed to know that a Levoit Vital 200S is the same as a LAP-201S-WUS? Buying replacement parts is hard enough with clear numbering. Otherwise, I strongly recommend this product it is well worth the extra money and I am extremely happy with the unit's performance.

Great Air Purifier With WiFi
I just picked up a 200s off Facebook Marketplace for a good price, clean air starting off and I like the WiFi part of it. I have a 100 also , my Aunt is using it . Both are Great Air Purifiers , the 100 doesn’t have the air quality light on it like the 200s does , I like breathing the pure air !!!

not impressed.
if a company can't be bothered to post a guide or manual in support of their product, how good are they really. I'm referring to the 200s I purchased 3.5 months ago. it's loud and seems to be malfunctioning.

Powerful and quiet!
This air purifier does everything I wanted and more! I control it via Wi-Fi, set schedules, and when wildfire smoke ramps up, it senses the air and ramps itself up to clean. On Auto when it is on the lowest setting, it is silent. On the 3rd setting it is loud but tolerable. I only use level 4 of 4 when cooking to capture all the PM2.5 and VOCs that are produced while cooking (kitchen doesn’t have a vent to the outside sadly).

Great medium-sized room filter
I use the Vital 200S Smart True HEPA Air Purifier every night to keep the air fresh and allergen-free in my bedroom while I sleep. I have yet to use it when smoke blankets the mountain town where I live, like it has done for the past 3 summers, but that is what I purchased it for. I love that the lights automatically dim in the dark and how quiet it is. It was also very easy to set up--you just remove the plastic wrapping from the internal filter and plug it in and it's ready to go. This is my 4th Levoit filter and I am hopeful that by regularly cleaning the filter I won't have to replace it very often.

So far so good
I like the design, it's got a more sportier look than just a plain box shape. Idk how this new design plays into the efficiency of the unit itself, but it looks better in a room. The smart features are neat. I have my house set up with all kinds of smart home stuff, so having to add another smart controller app to my phone, got me feeling crazy. However, the apps pretty intuitive, responsive, and once you've set your schedule up (I have mine to turn on every couple hours, for an hour at a time), you never really have to go back into the app. Here are my pros: - Scheduling: no more walking over to turn it on/off, therefore this unit is more energy efficient in the reason of me being lazy - Air Quality Check: the unit has some sensor and stuff to grade air quality. It then uses that to auto control the fan speed. - Easy to use app and decently packet features You may see a trend here, but really it's anything that will allow me to set it and forget it. This allows me to do that, whereas my other ones (Vital 100) not being smart... I just keep them on 24/7. Neat stuff: - Filter Life Indicator - idk how accurate this is, but neat? - Air Quality Notification - it can send push notifications about the air quality indoor. Again... it's one of those things where it's good to know but nothing I can really do with that information. The smart feature of the purifier takes that info to control it's fans, so it's out of my hands and I let it take the wheel Cons: - While the app is intuitive and easy to use, it's got a lot of bloatware. I understand the reason behind it and they do make it super easy to do whatever you have to do for your unit. It's just kinda annoying - Notifications - there's not much control over this, as of right now. That air quality feature I mentioned above... well, every time my unit turns on (again, I have it scheduled for every other hour), I'm hit with "Your Air Quality Is Good!". Cool, but also, can you stop? Just notify me if there's a change... Anyways, pretty much notification is all on or off. Would be nice to have specific notification settings to toggle or customize. Overall, I like it. I haven't had to touch it again since my initial set up. That's the goal. Eventually, I'll end up replacing all my other Vital 100's. This unit isn't overpriced, but it also ain't cheap. I feel as though the up front cost to replace my old unit far outweighs the energy savings I'd get from switching. Oh, also, this just in general, but Levoit's brand customer service is kinda out this world. One of the best service I get than most any other brand. I've been their customer for at least 2 years and I think I'll stick around.
