A little restraint please

I like this top, but I think the seams on the arms are an embellishment too far. They make my upper arms look even wider than usual, not a great look. I am thinking of altering the sleeves to remove this extra fol-der-ol, and to shorten them. Then I will really love the shirt for the boho styling and the fabric. I think in general Lucky brand could use a bit of restraint in their plus size designs, but then, as a 74yo I'm not your usual demographic. Maybe young'uns think more is more.
