I wanted to like it
I'm not tall and I carry weight around my middle. This dress fit and was comfortable, but the dress was still too much for me.

Snug as a bug (but it looked great)
I received a 20 and 22 today. Following my sewing instructor’s measurements of me (not done by myself, but a professional pattern maker) I should be a 20. Luckily I tried on my usual size 22 and even that was a bit snug. Beautiful, classic gown which might be too hot for the June event I am attending. But for late fall or winter, it would be perfect.
