This is a decent bar soap. It leathers well and has a very subtle smell which, for me, is not very "rum-my" but pleasant indeed. I found it this soap not creamy enough for my liking though but I do have dry skin. Still it's a good product for the price point.

Gorgeous
This is such an incredible product. When I read that it was ‘dark rum’ I immediately thought, not for me, however, I tried it and cannot believe the incredible scent! It is deep but not overpowering. Would say it is a nice unisex option - highly recommend!

Beautiful Scent
I really like the high quality to Malin Goetz products and I was introduced to the rum bar soap initially from trying it at a hotel. I've bought it several times since and absolutely love this scent and the feel of it. The dark rum scent is a favourite of mine and I love it in a soap form. I have both dry skin and sensitive skin the soap is wonderfully formulated and it doesn't dry my skin out and leaves it feeling nourished. I find it relaxing to use, it lathers well and the scent lingers on the skin. I have the Dark Rum scented candle and its nice to have that burning alongside a bath whilst you use the rum bar. I would definitely recommend this. The scent is unisex and great as a gift.

Gorgeous
I received the Malin and Goetz rum perfume oil roll on in the Space NK fragrance advent last year and fell in love with the fragrance. I just had to buy tha candle and it hasn’t disappointed. It gives off a really good amount of scent which lasts. I’ve loved using it when we’ve had friends round and it’s pleasing on the eye too.

It's a soap
I found this to be quite lightly scented (it does not smell of rum) with a pleasant understated scent. It lathers well with a creamy texture and rinses easily. In appearance it is very white, but otherwise plain (just embossed branding). I actually find the full size bar inconvenient as it is too large for my small hands to hold comfortably, or to fit easily in our soap dish. Otherwise, well it does it's job but is nothing remarkable. In it's favour, the price while premium is not stratospheric, but I'd still rather have a more complex scent or more decorative appearance at this price point. For those of you under 30 or so, I am over 50 and even cheap soap used to be this creamy, so I might well be harder to impress. If you want a more interesting bar soap, try Future Primitive handmade (in England) soaps.

Favourite fragrance
Love the Dark Rum range from Malin and Goetz and this is great for layering the fragrance. Quite distinctive and a good unisex fragrance. I prefer soap now to body wash as it doesn't use plastic. Great soap, nicely fragranced and doesn't dry skin. Lathers nicely and lasts well. Also keeping a spare in my clothes drawer to make my clothes smell good!

Strong scent pay off
This is my favourite scent by this brand, I have tried the perfume but wanted to repurchase but as a cheaper alternative. The scent is very unisex and therefore perfect to have in the bathroom. The product lathers up very well and makes a basic item (soap) seem ultra luxury.

Nice soap
It’s a nice soap with a creamy lather. I really like the smell - it’s subtle but a delicious androgynous scent. It leaves you feeling really clean but I wouldn’t recommend shaving with it - it’s not moisturising enough to allow a razor glide over the skin after using.
