Gorgeous boots but I need a wide calf boot

These boots are gorgeous, from the leather to the size and shape of the heel to the toe. Sadly, they did not fit my calves. I had read a review before buying that stated they fit someone with wider calves. My calves are about 15.5" and it was just too tight to get these up over my skinny jeans in my normal size 7. The half size up (7.5) I also tried fit my calves, a veryyy tight fit, but I could get the boots up - unfortunately then there was too much room in the foot part. I considered keeping the 7 and taking them to a local shoe repair shop to see if the calves could be stretched, but ultimately did not want to risk it not working and then having boots that I can't wear. That is how much I absolutely love these boots, if only my calves were .5 inches smaller or the boots were .5 inches wider. If you're on the fence, get them. They are stunning boots!!
