Glad I purchased -

Very cute jacket and warm enough in NY early winter . The black trim on dark blue base is a cute detail - makes it unusual . Great fit and flattering shape - and super lightweight as far as bulk and weight but still warm and comfortable

Excellent Coat for All Occasions!

After looking for a black puffer coat for quite a while I purchased the Marc N.Y. Packable Hooded Puffer Coat in the color black. Pluses: A hidden zipper with snaps, zippered pockets, and detachable hood. I am 5'7" and purchased an XL and I will have room to wear a bluky sweater underneath the coat The coat hits about one and a half inches above my knee (not too long and not too short!. It has a nice feel when wearing it also. It does says it is packable - but it is not as packable as a down puffer jacket which can fit in a very small bag). It is not as bulky as a regular jacket would be though! I plan on using for travel this spring. It is a bit more dressy looking to wear out also than a down puffer coat. It is also very nicely made. Very Happy with my purchase!

beware of the pockets!

I bought this coat at the beginning of the season. It has been moderately warm on cold days, and is definitely very packable. The problem with this coat is the pockets. They are very wide but shallow, so if they are not zippered, items can easily fall out just by walking. So, the pockets must be zippered at all times if they are to be used, at all. However, after just three uses, the right side pocket zipper broke, so I now have only one pocket.
