Simply Stunning!
I love everything Michael Aram and once I bought the entire Black Orchid dinnerware set, I knew I had to add the oval serving platter. I get lots of compliments on this piece and it completes my collection. It's made well, doesn't scratch and can be placed in the dishwasher.

Dinnerware picture variance
I just received the bowls for the dinnerware, and the color is much lighter, more gray than black. To me, it looks like the patter is a cheap appliqué, or something that has faded. Sadly, sending them back.

Michael Aram Black Orchid Serving Platter
The end of the Platter is all chipped. Now I have to get tape to retape the box and send it back. I am very disappointed that this happened and have to wait for a new one to be delivered and hope that it is not chipped!!!!!!!!!!

Very elegant
This piece is narrower than I had thought it would be, but it is really lovely. It comes off more gray than black if you are looking for either color it will work. Very affordable piece for Michael Aram. Good value.
