surprised...not inappropriate good way

I got all the cannister sizes, the butterfly ginkgo decoration is wonderful and, for decorative purposes, these cannisters are simply lovely; however, they are not super functional. The lid doesn't go down all the way, or if I try to push it down all the way, it pops back up. There is no suction to the top, if that makes sense. It only covers the top lightly. This happened with all the cannisters. I can't imagine storing anything in them food related or I will probably get ants. I plan to return them instead.

Beautiful!

The first thing my grands do when they walk in my front door is head to the candy jar we keep filled for them. sometimes I hadn’t even realized they were here before I heard the lid being removed. This has been a tradition for almost 18 years and it fills my heart. The jar I was using had been a gift from a friend but not my style. This is beautiful and functional. sending the boys home with the old one already filled. Have several Michael Aram pieces that I love and will continue to add to my collection
