    • The inspiration for Wildflower came from the discovery of a set of 19th century hand-tinted, botanical illustrations which, over time, had faded to muted, dusty tones.
    • Touched by how beautifully each wildflower had been rendered in the antique drawings, Aram took great care to capture and recreate the naturalistic movement and gentle hues in hand-enameled and sculpted metal. 
    • Uncultivated by definition, wildflowers, as interpreted by Aram, reflect the ideal of "perfectly imperfect" and capture a sense of carefree innocence in the fleeting joyfulness of nature.

    During his first trip to Delhi, Michael Aram was so captivated by the rich tradition of craftsmanship and centuries-old metalworking techniques that he set up his own studio.
