Knit dress, unusual fabric

This dress runs very large. I sized down 2 sizes. Even with sizing down, I took the dress to a tailor to have the waist taken in. The picture on the website makes it appear that the dress has a fitted waist, but it does not. The fabric is unusual because the weight of the fabric feels heavy when you hold it, but it seemed fine when I put it on. I don't think that the fabric will be too hot because it's a knit and I think that it will be comfortable. I liked the pattern of the fabric, and even the tailor kept telling me that he liked the colors. I wanted a knit dress, and when the dress is finished being tailored for me, this dress will be just what I need a business lunch or professional meeting.
