What It Is

Gua sha has been practiced in Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years. This gua sha tool was built to have a firming, lifting effect on the skin.

  • What It Does

    Besides improving overall health and radiance of the skin, gua sha has a multitude of benefits:
    - Improves blood circulation
    - Reduces puffiness of the skin
    - Firms and lifts the skin
    - Anti-wrinkle

    Due to natural variations in stone, every facial tool is unique in pattern and color. The stones and crystals used are authentic and natural. Mount Lai does not artificially dye or treat the stones to let their true beauty shine through.

  • How To Use It

    - Start with a clean face and prep skin with a facial oil or serum.
    - Keep the tool flat against the face and begin with the forehead. Scrape in an upwards motion from the eyebrows to the hairline.
    - Move to the cheeks and scrape in an outwards motion starting from the crease of the nose until the ear.
    - Move to the jawline and use the end of the gua sha tool with the two curves. Start from the chin and scrape until the ear.
    - For the under-eye area, very gently scrape the gua sha tool from the inner corner of the eye outwards to the temple.

Gua Sha Facial Tool

Love the size and sleek look of this obsidian tool. Use it daily to help recover from Bell's palsy. The groove is a nice shape for cheek bones. I liked its warming qualities. Really appreciated the stone properties page as it helped me choose what rock was best for my face.

Black Obsidian Gua Sha

Healing from Bell's Palsy and this is part of my daily routine. I love the look and feel of it and the shape is perfect for jaw bone. Really appreciated the page explaining the properties of the stone as it helped me pick out what was best for me. I do feel that the black obsidian is very warming compared to my jade and I love having both.

Careful! Very fragile.

I love this tool. It’s very smooth and easy to hold. And so pretty! But extremely fragile. Didn’t last me more than two weeks because I dropped it (on wood floor) maybe 1 foot’s distance and it completely shattered. 🥺 $40 down the drain. Considering the stainless steel one now.

Beautiful

I think this gua sha is the prettiest one I've seen. I am an acupuncturist, and nothing competes with any of the gua sha facial lifting tools. It's easy to hold, glides beautifully, and the results are flawless

So happy with this tool!

I broke a stone gua sha tool from another brand and decided to try the steel one from Mount Lai so I wouldn't be able to break it so easily. I LOVE it. It's cooling, smooth, and I enjoy using it so much, I'm pulling it out daily and found it so easy to add to my routine. LOVE!
