Not as good as older version of product

I got this to replace my original Mount Lai White Jade Gua Sha tool that I used daily for the past few years but unfortunately dropped and broke. I was very disappointed with the differences between this tool and the old one I had. This one is 22 g lighter than my old one and substantially thinner. I miss the weight and wider edges of my original one which made it feel much sturdier than this one.

The stone broke

It's such a beautiful stone and works great, sadly it broke within a couple months of using it. I have other gua sha stones that have lasted me years even with regular handling, so I'm bummed out that this one didn't last long.

Great tool, terrible pouch

The tool itself is great, my routine with it was fantastic. I give that 5 stars. My 2 stars go to the pouch it comes with. It's hard to take it out and feels very precarious. Then sometimes, like today, it gets caught and tumbles out which caused the gua sha to completely shatter. I literally just bought this a month ago and now have to get a new one because it brings after struggling to get it out of the pouch it came with. I guess just never use to pouch.

Perfect

I've been religiously doing a gua sha routine daily for probably 5 years. This is by far the best gua sha tool i've ever used! The design is so thoughtful -- it immediately sculpts and depuffs while also really REALLY draining my lymph nodes. it's amazing. GUA SHA NEWBIES, PLEASE: if you're totally new to gua sha... don't buy this (yet)! buy a cheap one that you can learn to use/handle/take care of first. if you're new to gua sha, you're gonna break your first.. few. thats just the name of the game imo.

An anomaly?

The massaging edges of the of the tool was very rough and felt like it might break my skin. This is my second tool (the first one broke when I accidentally dropped it) and I think it might be an anomaly. I don't think I will continue to use it and might purchase a new one instead.
