Good mascara
This mascara felt a bit dry when I put it on. Fortunately, it was very easy to apply. Two layers give a very nice look. At the end of the day I did have a bit of black underneath the eye. That's why I wouldn't give it 5 stars. But I would still recommend this NARS mascara!

Clumpy
I was really unimpressed with NARS Climax Mascara. Despite all the rave reviews, it didn’t deliver the dramatic results I was hoping for. The formula is decent but felt a bit too wet, and it didn’t give me the volume or length I was expecting. Instead of lifting and separating, it seemed to clump my lashes together, which made them look a bit spidery. The brush is on the larger side, which I found tricky to use, especially on the lower lashes. It also didn’t hold up throughout the day—by mid-afternoon, I noticed some smudging and flaking under my eyes, which is a dealbreaker for me. Overall, I was expecting more from a high-end mascara, especially from a brand like NARS. It’s not terrible, but it certainly didn’t live up to its promises, and I wouldn’t repurchase it.

Perfect mascara
This mascara gave me the thickest and fullest lashes - it did not transfer. Love it as an everyday but layer for evening look. Black is BLACK! Very happy I found this and this will be my mascara I keep coming back to buy. I have bought it for everyone I know as it works for everyone

I have very short brown eyelashes
Love this mascara!!! I have very short brown eyelashes so the brush is excellent as well as it’s not plastic with those short bristles. The brush bristles are long and lush. I highly recommend.

Not for me
I only bought this mascara because I saw it offer and the reviews seemed good. It is not the right mascara for me. It is very dramatic and clumpy. But I know some people like that look. I prefer a more separated effect. But it did is very volumizing and lengthening.

LOVE this compact mascara
This is such a great buy - amazing value for the product and such a great mascara. It’s nice and small so fits easily into my make up bag for travel/topping up on nights out yet it’s lasted ages and seems like a still have a lot left. Fantastic definition achieved and it layers really well for a more dramatic look. Combined with the Luxe lash permanent curling product I’ve been using, this has totally transformed my lashes. Couldn’t be happier.
