Beautiful, durable bowl
I didn't read the description closely, I assumed the bowl was made out of glass, but it's not - it's synthetic with a matte finish. I prefer this, actually, as it won't scratch up my stone countertop and will not chip if knocked into. I use it on my kitchen island to store bananas, avocados, squash, etc. I bought the black color, which is not accurately represented in the photos. The overall tone is dark gray, with black and white swirls throughout. It's really lovely. I bought the matching medium bowl and the rectangle platter.
