I normally love all the Nest fragrances, I have my favorites but I’ve never hated any. Until now. This is just horrible. It smells musty, like a box of mildewed books. I thought maybe the hot throw would be different. It wasn’t. My room smelled like a basement with mildewed water damage. Yeah, I got the 3 wick. Total waste of money.

Not tge scent combo for me
Quite literally one of the worst candles I have ever smelled. It gives off an almost chocolate sent, but the backend is like mildew. The first time we lit it, I asked my partner if they had been cleaning out the shed- it was the candle.

Smells Like a Tootsie Roll
Love Nest candles, I'm partial to the woody scents. My favorite candle ever and probably in my lifetime is the Tobacco and Oats one that was long discontinued (so awesome). Given that frame of preference, I thought this would be in the same family but it is not. It smells JUST LIKE a Tootsie Roll and that is too sweet for me. Reminds me when trick-or-treating the candy we all hated was the Tootsie Roll. If you like Tootsie Rolls, this scent is for you.

Gag Inducing Scent
I received as a sample votive and had to throw away in my outside trash can immediately. It just smells awful, no other way around it.

Terrible Smell. Not as described.
Smell does not match description. It is terrible - it smells like brownies burning in the oven. They completely missed the mark here. I purchased this as part of their Fall Set. The other two are amazing. I put this one in my breakroom at the office with a note that said "if you like it, take it." It was still there at the end of the day and I threw it away. It is really bad. Even smelled up my car on the ride in.

Warm, nutty cocoa goodness.
As with most Nest candles, this one has tremendous throw and a clean burn as long as you keep the wicks short. I am not a fan of fig as a note in candles / fragrances but I adore pistachio. For this reason, I read a lot of reviews for this candle prior to purchasing and reviewers commented on the strong cocoa note. I then decided to go in-store to sniff rather than blind-buy, and other reviewers correct, however, you never know how the fragrance will morph once lit. I got it home, lit it and indeed, cocoa seems to be the predominant note. This is a rich, warm nutty / buttery cocoa with no discernable fig notes. I am in love. It is also POWERFUL so if you are burning in a smaller room, I would opt for the single wick. Even in a large room however, the throw on the 3 wick is exemplary! This will be in my re-buy rotation for sure.
