Arrived Melted

The chocolates arrived in Florida, during our cold spell, mostly melted. When chocolate is shipped to warm climates it needs to be shipped with cooling packs

Awful!

They sent me a box that was 2 weeks before the expiration date. I figured that meant they were still good, and since our family intended to eat them right away, we assumed they would taste fine. We assumed wrong! They were stale and awful. After partially eating a couple that were bad, we used a knife to cut into the others. The few soft centers had evaporated and nothing was there! This was a sheer waste of a lot of money because we threw out nearly all of them. Don't buy these if they are close to the expiration date. Macy's shouldn't have sent us something that was this old to begin with. Some looked like they had melted and reformed with the cold. They were actually mailed to us from across the county and must have passed through some tropical states or something for the melting and awkward reforming to occur. Glad I didn't give them as a gift. Deformed and stale chocolates would have been an insulting gift.
