What It Is

OLAPLEX No. 3 is the first step in repairing and maintaining hair bonds at home. OLAPLEX No. 3 contains the same active ingredient as the entire OLAPLEX professional salon services system, which works to repair broken disulfide bonds.

  • How To Use It

    - Apply a generous amount of OLAPLEX No. 3 to damp, towel-dried hair and work through from roots to ends. If your hair has product buildup such as oil or silicone, it is best to do a light shampoo first. Damp, towel-dried hair is recommended to help conserve product.
    - Process for a minimum of 10 minutes or more. You can leave it on up to 20 minutes if hair is severely damaged.
    - Rinse.
    - For maximum results, shampoo with Olaplex No. 4 and condition with Olaplex No. 5.

Amazing

Olaplex No. 3 really helped strengthen and smooth my hair. I noticed less breakage and frizz after a few uses, especially since my hair is color-treated. It’s pricey and doesn’t moisturize on its own, but when I follow it with conditioner, I get great results. Overall, I think it’s a powerful treatment if your hair is damaged.

WORTH TRYING

I've used the No.4 shampoo and No.5 conditioner for years, and love them, so I wanted to try this. It's nice to use - like all Olaplex products - but after a few uses I can't say I've seen a massive difference. I probably need to try it for a bit longer.

The texture and quality of my hair has completely changed since I have been using the Olaplex line of shampoo, conditioner, masks and leave-in protectants. LOVE. Before using these products I had extremely dry, dull, weak hair, with a lot of frizz and split ends. Now, after using Olaplex products I have silky, smooth, healthy hair with no split ends or frizz. The mask and leave-in protectors are incredible. It has been three months now and my hair is completely different from the day I started with this line. I cannot say enough great things about this line of products. These hair care products are a complete game changer. Highly recommend. Thank you Olaplex for creating such incredible products.

Stronger, Smoother Hair Over Time

I use this once a week as a pre-wash treatment and it’s genuinely helped my hair feel stronger and less brittle. My ends look smoother and I get fewer little snapped-off pieces around my hairline. It’s not a super “slippy” conditioner-type feel, so I still need a regular conditioner afterwards, but as a treatment it’s definitely made a difference over time.
