So very happy with my steamer basket

Could Be Good But Handle Is Loose

I cook vegetables every day and when I needed a new steamer, I looked at OXO since OXO usually means quality. I read the reviews where people said the handle was loose but thought that it probably wouldn’t impact me enough to matter. I was wrong. I used it for the first time today to steam a cut up head of cauliflower and the handle was so loose it was much more difficult than it needed to be to pick this up out of the pan I was using. (In order to be able to put a lid on the pan with this in, I needed to use one of my largest pots.). I may try it one more time but I am going to be looking for a different one.

Works very well, and fits a variety of pots! Also works well for keeping grease down when pan frying!

Oxo Stands by Their Products

I love the Oxo warranty… that’s a huge plus. Yet the basket did break after just six years, so that’s a ding for sure. So I’m a little torn on this one.
