High Quality But Athletic Calves Beware

I am heartbroken; I fell in love with these boots the moment I saw them. These are an exceptional pair of high quality boots with the leather, color, and style--even the packaging. However, as someone with athletic calves, I was just shy (3/4" over) of the calf circumference and was not able to get these to zip up all the way. I did not want to risk getting the boots stretched so I am opting to return. I really wish Paige had more slightly wider calf options. Even if you don't have muscle, maybe you want to fit in a jean or legging, it wouldn't be possible unless you have thin calves.
