Very nice, but they shrink, SIZE UP

Good quality, nice fabric and details, but they shrink when laundered according to directions. Had previously purchased my 3.5 year old grandson a size 4, but it shrunk so much on the first wash, that I now bought a size 6 for him and am passing down the size 4 to his 2year old sister.
