Beautiful but too SMALL

This dress is beautiful but really small! My daughter is a petite 9 year old and very skinny!!! She size M is too tight, size M is for 8/10 ( she can wear the dress- but it is really uncomfortable, I don’t think any of her friends that are her age could wear this dress in the size M) The dress is so beautiful I would love to try the size large but I think that is risky, I’m sure that will be too long and need to be shortened.
